Mission
& Vision
To promote and develop the science and technology for
the nation's economy through utilization of the knowledge
and expertise of its member scientists and engineers consisting
of scholars distinguished in their respective professional
fields.
To contribute, as an authoritative academic institution,
to the consolidation of the nation's science and technology
foundation, and to the preparation for the globalization
and information age through various academic research
activities and information exchanges, and to play a pivotal
role in non-governmental research, evaluation and consultation
on the science and technology policy.
To enhance the academic collaborative programs between
the KAST and foreign academies and also to improve public
understanding for the advancement of the nation's science
and technology. |
