KAST presents realistic milestones for early achievement of national
science and technology advancement objectives by identifying areas to
support, developing methodologies on the basis of evaluation of world
trends, and forecasting the future in various areas of scientific and technological
fields. For this purpose, KAST continues the following programs:

To contribute to the enhancement of the level of science and
technology through in-depth discussions with the world's top
class scholars, mostly Nobel Laureates.
To provide momentum for promoting research activities through
interdisciplinary symposia on selected new areas of academic
fields which individual scientific societies are
unable to host.
To exchange scientific information through presentation and
discussion of latest research findings by KAST members.
